Brew for beginning of summerMay 1, 2011 4:52 pm
Hockey playoffs and NBA playoffs undeway, Baseball firing up, NFL draft, MLS soccer all in action and summer right around the corner.
SO gonna recommend Bell's Oberon, and American Wheat Ale. It's got all the wheat, yeast and slight citrus flavor and good body so it transitions from spring to summer well. If you can find it on draft and get a growler do it -- but by the bottle is good as well, justa bit more carbonated. With the Blackhawks out, gotta go with Capitals but watch the Canucks. Fingers crossed the Rockies stay healthy and pitching shapes up. It would be good to see them get back to October ball. Broncos draft finally made some sense, so got hopes there. Cheers all !
